The Ledges By The Bay now offers its customers the ability to book discounted group room rates for five or more rooms. (The only exceptions are the yearly North Atlantic Blues Festival and the Maine Lobster Festival weekends.) In addition, travelers booking groups at the Ledges will have access to unique, online features that make it easy to reserve rooms under their group booking.

Booking groups has typically been a manual and time-consuming process where customers relied on their own resources, called multiple hotels for rates and availability, and had to keep track of all the details on their own. The Ledges' group booking engine means that customers can now easily book their group reservation online - from reserving the rooms to receiving email reservation confirmations.
For group bookings, we typically create a special web page (click link for example) for your event with a dedicated online reservation link that will automatically generate the negotiated rate for your specific group when booking your reservation online with us. This page is accessed via a special URL (internet link or web page) that is emailed to you. You simply foward this email to members of your group so they can make their reservations. This streamlines the process of making reservations for group bookings as it minimizes the need of having to manage the process of overseeing individual member reservations. Of course, members of your party who do not have internet access can also call the motel office to make reservations as well.

The Ledges By The Bay is the perfect place to accommodate your wedding party or group event. At the Ledges, there is no minimum stay requirement or pre-booking fees. Generally, blocks of rooms are not set aside from the available room inventory. Accordingly, availability is on a first come first serve basis which means that members may need to book early during certain times of the year like July and August. The up side is that there is no financial responsibility on the part of the group booking agent for rooms when negotiating a group booking rate.
